Life-changing! Romulus Community Schools, Michigan
One of the most original "Bridge Building" talks I have ever witnessed. Your unconventional style assures that your message will be remembered. You explored and exposed issues with intelligence and humor. And it was heartfelt. You are a rare find on the lecture circuit. Godspeed Master's Teacher! James Gervais
There couldn't be a better time for such a blatantly balcony performance! With the basement mentality of our nation at this time, you need to make a NATIONAL BALCONY day! I have learned to turn each test into triumph, with the divine help you pointed to at the end. You're a gift, I truly hope to hear you in a nationwide BALCONY inspired movement, as THAT is what will keep us KEEPIN ON! Nancy Bowling Duncan
Dear Dr. Adolph, You have blessed me beyond belief. Please love on those 7 babies and precious wife of yours, and always continue to start every day on your knees. Praise God for your 2nd grade teacher :) Much Love, Lauren in Amherst County
In 30 years, I have not heard a more comprehensive message. Adolph's gift for articulating leadership and educational excellence principles through data-driven research and personalized experiences is unparalleled. A-list! National Association of School Boards
Adolph has the potential to do for our generation what Dr. King did for his. He is that good! Art McMahon, Duncanville, ISD
Your seminar on diversity ACTUALLY positively dealt with classroom instruction issues. Thank you for a relevant and timely message. It was time well spent. Lisa Borden
Dear Doc--- Thanks so much for your words and inspiration today. I shared some of your stories with my kids tonight--about the $99 million contract or owning the team and about Dana. Our nieces both have special needs: Lyndy has autism and Katherine had a stroke at birth that leaves her unable to walk at age 7. I spoke with my son and daughter, 9 and 7, about what their cousins had taught them. Thanks for sharing your love for children today and helping me share my love for mine with them. I want to apologize for personally delaying Keith after your talk. I wanted to share the book, Finding Fish by Antwoine Fisher with him. Fisher has an amazing story that you have probably read. Keith had not, but I succeeded in making him late to help you. Thanks again and God speed you on your travels and be with you and your family, Bill Kessler
Good evening Doc! I saw you speak today in Gaston County at the Teaching and Learning conference. I cannot begin to tell you what your speech did for me as an educator! I was the bald guy sitting in the front row. I was hoping that you would be willing to send me a list of any appearances you may have coming up in the near future. I would love to bring my wife to come and see you to relate the positive message and I would also love to come and see you again. If you would be willing to do that I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you again for today! Damon Whalen Assistant Principal East Gaston High School
I just attended your second presentation with the Amherst County Schools. As a teacher of 19 years and a mother of 4, I am always entertained and inspired by your presentation. I came home and played your clips for my 2 teenagers. I wish you many success with your mission. I am on the same mission.
Hello Doc! I was the "Boot Scootin' Boogie" girl in your session this morning for Gaston County Schools. I just needed to tell you how much I enjoyed your presentation and your style and the fact that you laid it out there on the line with no hesitations or reservations! I completely believe in your assertion that relationships must be at the bottom of all educational experiences and as a newer administrator, I pray that I will have the strength to tell folks, if you are onthe ROAD plan, go ahead and hit the road now! If you're not here for kids, get out. I have laughed all night as I recounted our morning to my husband and just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed the experience of being in your session and hearing your message. I too am a passionate educator! With HEART, Kathi Withers Assistant Principal, Kiser Elementary Gaston County Schools
What an inspirational message! I was not looking forward to an 8:30 keynote but am so glad I made the effort. I entered the day as a basement dweller burdened with some of the troubles of life. Your positive attitude and engaging style reminded me to return to the balcony. I am eager to begin another school year. I teach to make a difference and am fortunate enough to have been reminded of my great good fortune over the years. I hope GCS taped the event and offer it to all educators as a reminder of why we do what we do. God bless you and may you continue to deliver the message loud and strong. Gastonia, NC
Doc, you are amazing! I enjoyed your presentation so much- I haven't laughed that hard in years! What you have to say is so true and relevant. I work with high schoolers, and they would LOVE you. I hope you can come back and speak to them! May God bless you and your family! Kelly Daniels
I had the privilege of hearing you speak today during one of our in service days for Duncan Public Schools. I just would like to tell you that in my 11 years of teaching and listening to keynote speakers, I have NEVER heard anyone as wonderful as you!! Thank you so much for sharing your passion about teaching and children! I really enjoyed every minute of your presentation!! Keep up the good work! -Kendra Woods

Your program was the perfect start to my 20th year of teaching. I will strive to be in the balcony all year- with my big wheelbarrow. Thank you for sharing such an important message. Panama City, FL

Thoroughly enjoyed out time with you today. I have never held my urine so long for anyone n the world, although I did manage to quickly sneak away while you were hammering away the woman in the front row! I really appreciate your heart and your enthusiasm. Keep the faith! Michelle Mann Thrasher Elementary
Hello, I heard you speak recently at the Oklahoma City Public School Professional Development Day. I enjoyed your message greatly and I appreciate your family granting you time to speak to our parents and students. The reason I am writing is because I wanted to tell you of a song that goes great with your Sex Symbol shirt. It is "The Ring" by Nicole C. Mullen. I hope you can check it out. She is my favorite artist. Thank you for your time. Grace and Peace, Nicole Mercer, MS, CCC-SLP Speech Pathologist Monroe Elementary School
Dear Dr. Brown, I heard you speak today and was blown away. I particularly loved the way you played music anytime that anyone walked out of the room. I feel that the songs were engaging and kept the audience's attention. I hope you will consider creating a similar cd for classroom management for the urban student. I have seen a couple of music cds for classroom management but never one geared toward high school students. I also loved perusing your book, workbook, entitled REAL TALK. I feel the length and complexity are appropriate for the bubble kids or even the at risk kids who need to face reality. Sean Covey writes the 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE TEENS but it is too wordy. Towsend Press has the HIGHLY MOTIVATIONAL ESSAYS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, but it lacks the workbook reflective approach with writing space after each chapter. I especially love your quotables and take with me: "Sticks and stones may break my bones but stereotypes will kill me" as the kernel of truth from your presentation. I encourage you to keep doing what you do and give you many thanks for the exhilarating presentation. -Concepcion Vithanager
Thank you so much for everything that you've given us at our leadership camp Doc Brown, this was my third year of having the honor of being taught by you and I enjoy it every time. you are just an amazing speaker and mentor and I hope to have the honor of interning with you one day soon. You joined us today,in the middle of no-where,Randolph County! You were awesome!!Thanks so much for your energy! Kathy Martin
The message was very powerful.
I thoroughly enjoyed your speech for Randolph County, Georgia
Thanks for your fabulous heart felt presentation in Palm Beach County for Prime Time in May 2010. You are the best speaker I have ever heard in my life. I laughed and I cried and was moved thinking of how I have impacted children's life's not only through my work as a teaching artist with the Center for Creative Education and as a parent of a child that I adopted from foster care and as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Your wit and wisdom will move many to continue touching lives. Thanks so much. Janet Lifshin The HaHa Lady www.thehaha.com
Thank you Doctor Brown for your infectious sense of fun! Your message was touching and vital. -Charlotte Mottern
Thank you Dr. Brown for the new beginning. I got rid of the internal critic. This was perhaps the best one and half hours investment I made during the entire four day convention! — Sandi Weeks
Dr. Brown, you came to my school- Brooks Wester Middle School- at the beginnig of the 2009-2010 school year. Everyone was raving about you the year before but I was unlucky enough to sick that day. But you turned me around with your words of inspiration. I am an apple in the tree!!!!

Doc, your presentation to the Pennsylvania School Counselors was smartly delivered, informed, and provocatively amusing. You possess a kind of transformative power. In short, you were a huge blessing for our conference attendees. Hope to see you at the national meeting.

Dr. Brown just spoke at my school, Central Medical Magnet High School, Beaumont, Texas on Friday April 23, and I WAS MOVED!!! I was moved to motivate my students, encourage my students for optimal success, moved to be FEARLESS!!!! This was my first time hearing Dr. Brown and I am convinced!!! Dr. Brown's presentation was out of the box and extraordinary!! I am a Speech Communication Applications teacher and my head was filled beyond capacity with information I so drastically tried to retain to reinforce to my students. Thank you Dr. Brown for your passion, fire and commitment to our children, 'I LOVE YOU MAN!!' I am going to also use that response when asked by the students why am I calling for their attention or trying to enforce the rules...
FINALLY! As a 30 year veteran, the time you spent with us was worth more than any professional development we have ever had. You were a breath of fresh air. You explored today's issues with intelligence, humor, and a refreshing absence of band aid approaches and cook-book cookie-cutter solutions. By far the most satisfying training we have ever experienced. Your DVD is of the same excellent caliber. Thank you for the exhilarating, and deeply pleasureable 2 hours. You moved us to action. Emily Owen
Hear him! -Pat Haymond
You radiate JOY! -b jefferson
Thanks for showing us how not to take ourselves too seriously. However, it is quite obvious that you take what you do seriously! I loved your self-contained assurance coupled with genuine humility. Godspeed! Jeff Stilson
I laughed through my tears. Your presentation in the Pa had us cheering from our seats. I am sure you hear this all the time, but I must say how provocative, persuasive, and powerful your session was. You are the most original trainer I have seen in over 30 years. Audaciously funny and resonant!- Best, Jackie Fronk
What channel is your talk show on? -Kai
You have definitely "been there and done that!" Thanks for sharing both your life trials and your triumphs with our parents. Your openness allowed our group to recognize that we are all human-beings with similar problems, struggles, pains, and of course victories. We are already working on booking you for next year. On a more personal note, your timing couldn't be better. - Christy Travers
A Marvelous & Extraordinary Speaker! It was great to see you "at it again" after first seeing you in Seattle. I told my co-workers that if they loved to laugh while learning, they can't resist! Thank you! Thank you! You are a gorgeous person. -Melinda Wright
Thank you for an inspired performance in Nevada. I have highly recommended you to all of my friends and co-workers. You are one of the most original speakers I have ever heard. It was the most satisfying professional development day I have had in 30 years. Very rare! Richard Hall
Simply inspiring! Kara, Charlotte, NC
Hello Dr. Brown, I will never forget the day of your workshop. I was living in Mobile, AL and the day before I was watching the Miss Universe Pageant and Puerto Rico won another crown. In my mind I was happy so when I pass by you and you tried to engage in a conversation I just smile but ignore you. “Never judge a book by its cover “was one of the things that I learned from you that day. Everyday that I come in the classroom I tried to make a difference and motivate my students to learn. Your session was very outgoing and informational. I think you are a great speaker and it’s been one the best professional development sessions that I have ever been. Thanks!!! Mayra
May God bless you for the beautiful work you do for students and organizations throughout the world. I am cheering for you. -Teresa Edgerson
Good Afternoon Dr. Brown, I was so very fortunate to hear you speak at the ESP Conference in Vegas this past weekend and after I heard you speak last year, I knew I would not miss a minute of it. You are by far the best 'motivational' speaker I have ever heard. It would be so awesome to have you come and speak to our school dist. at the beginning of the school year; of course with budgets the way they are, it may not happen but I am working on it. I think everyone should listen to you and read your books. Thanks for everything you do for all of us. Nancy Peters, DE
Rock Solid Presentations! Kara Jackson

It was great as usual for the Red Oak Staff but what made my day was telling my high school students how much they were going to enjoy their time with you and one hour later"Miss you were right". We also shared with one another how important it was to be the apple in the tree with high standards.I also want to thank Tony for being an awesome right hand. Thanks again hope to see you in the furure. Susan Gatling Red Oak High School
Dr. Brown you recently revisted our school district and spoke three times. The students were touched in many ways. It was very real to them. I was able to hear you at our convication as well as two of the three talks you gave at Red Oak Jr High and at the High School to the Faculty. I have passed on a business card of yours to an administrator with whom I attend church with. She states her district; Waxahachie is concentrating on the CARE technique with their students and I highly recommended you for that. I also explained to her and others how very "REAL TALK" you were. I have heard many speakers in my time as an educator and never once has he or she actually demonstrated to me what they were saying so that I could see it applied. However, you did that while you visited. If you'll recall the update you gave the faculty about your daughter Dana and her recent surgery outcome. You took out your phone and called home to talk with Dana and let her know how much you cared by sharing her news with us but also to let her know others cared by the applause we all gave her progress. I am a Christian woman, wife of 15 yrs an educator since 2006 and that same year we adopted our new born son. So now I add to my list, mother and recently I became a grad student to get a Masters degree in Educational Leadership & Technology; which takes a great deal of my time. That day though you really touched me by not only hearing you say before everything you do or have done, you "were a father first." Thank you for that encouragement and reminder for me to take back to my own life management. One day I hope to have acheived all of my goals and be able to teach others and reach others in education the way you do. Thank you again and may you and your family be blessed. Katrina Powell 7th Grade Science Red oak Jr High
Hi Adolf Brown I am one of the students at RedOak Intermediate. I heard you talk and it was soooooo inspiring i just love you(and how you Dance).

Hey Doc- i saw you last night at Red Oak high School and I want to say Thank you! thank you for delivering your message, I prayed last nigh for your God to bless you and your family so that others may be touched in such a way that I was. Wanted to know if you are on Facebook, it would be wonderful if the kids could hear from you daily to remember what is of the utmost importance, who knows if they have that parent at home doing it for them!
B.J. Tucker
YOU DOPE I LIKE YOU
Good Morning, Dr. Brown it was indeed a blessing to have had the opportunity to be inspired by your presence. My name is Jonia Milburn and I was invited to hear you speak in Galveston this past weekend. I would like to say thanks for making us accountable for our action as educators. I believe that we should be held accountable more often. My motto for teaching is that I teach as though my biological child is in my class. I remind myself daily that my children are in someone's class and "I know my children". I have taught at an Alternative school for the past 5 years and I truly understand how educators judge our children and it is indeed so unfair. I pray that God will continue to use you in the powerful way that He is using you. He has truly predestined your walk. Continue to be the voice for our kids, they need you. I hope Dana liked her LWJD Bracelet in fact I will send you more because I think I only gave you adult sizes. My daughter loved her t-shirt. Again, thanks for the inspiration. Blessed to be a Blessing, Jonia Milburn
Adolph, It has been a few yrs. but you and your family are often in my thoughts! I go to your site often for inspriation and am in my 31st yr. of teaching; every day i says" It's going to be a great day".I see that you revisted Mexico with the family! Such wondereful memories I have of you on the beaches as a youngster in high school! What an inspiration you are and I am blessed to have you as my mentor now...I would love to catch up with you and would like to purchase a book; please advise what may be best for me as I continue to try to make a difference in each child that walks through my doors... Your high school Spanish teacher, Sra. Dugan (or was it Srta. Franken back then?)
Doc i love your work you have help me in so many ways. I thank you soooo much god has truly blessed you. thank you from April Gaskins
If you laugh, think, and cry...that's a heck of a presentation! -Joe
Hello, I'm not sure if you remember me so I attached my most recent pic. I just wanted to say thank you for the conversation on the night of your arrival in Hinesville. I was unsure about somethings and meeting you really inspired me. I must admit after we spoke I called on my best friend google to learn more about you. I was amazed that in the presents of such accomplishments you still pose such a beautiful spirit. You are definitely hard to forget..... One day in the future, I will be in the audience of one of your seminars, and update you on how things turn out. Again, thank you for being a page in the book of Bernadette (smile) BH
I want to again thank you for mentioning Hollywood, SC (Baptist Hill HS) in your presentation in Charleston, SC last Friday. I truly appreciate your kind words and your acknowledgement of what we try to do on a daily basis at the school. Thank you for what you do in changing the lives of others. -Reggie Terry
Thank you so much for the inspiration that you shared with the students, teachers, and parents of JME. I definitely walked away encouraged, inspired, and motivated to be a better parent. "To a child... LOVE equals TIME." Now that's real talk! Those words have had a great impact on our lives, and remain with me as parent forever. Thank you! - L .Young
I met and heard Dr. Brown at the GSBA in Atlanta the first of December. It was the most inspirational, motivational presentation mixed with humor that everyone can associate with as a school board member, that I have ever heard. My daughter is a second grade teacher, whose name happens to be Leah, I gave her Dr. Brown's cd of his mother's letter and she stated that nothing could be truer. Steven Goodnoe Harris County Georgia BOE P.S. Keep up the Great work, Adolph. Thanks for signing the cd.
LOVED IT! -Mich

Thank you hardly seems to be enough. I am entering my 7th year of teaching. After having been a successful engineer for over 15 years, coming into teaching wasn't really a new thing for me. After all, I have been a coach for 9+ years, sharing my love of soccer with kids and adults of all ages, all over the world. I didn't choose teaching, before it chose me. I was raised to always chase the almighty buck. Then I stopped having fun, and it became just a job. When teaching came to me, I was not very confident that I would be good enough. What if the kids didn't like me? That was 7 years ago. Thanks to my loving, patient, and very understanding wife and three children, we are still making the transition, but today I got 2 things back that I thought I had lost. 1st - my confirmation that I am doing what I am SUPPOSED to be doing (God never said doing what I intend for you to do will be easy, but you will have all you need). You see, I almost gave it up this summer. I didn't feel like I fit in where I am teaching. Being out of the box all the time requires constant explaining, reasoning, and challenges. What in the world, isn't this what we're challenging our students to learn and do?! 2nd - Shortly after I started teaching I was given a vision of speaking to teachers and helping them to come out of their boxes, and meet the kids where they are. Not once they get to where we want them to be. After we met today (the thug you and I) I watched you wander around. I was extremely embarrassed, and hurt seeing how many people shunned, ignored, and simply refused to embrace you (the thug you). Just so you know, your acknowledgement today, made all the difference in the world. You see, I considered not coming back. A good friend of mine is in need of a field experienced engineer with management skills. He has offered me a job 3 times this summer, with very handsome wages, and benefits. But when I meet my kids, just like I met you, I see all too clearly why I stayed. I lost sight of my dream, and took my focus off what I was placed on this earth to do - build relationships with kids. Thanks for giving my dream back to me, or at least bringing it back in front of me. I love you "man"! I want to be like you when I grow up.
Awesome!!! Food for thought, motivating, and your enthusiasm for positive relationships is what life is all about. Thank-you for your inspiring back to school kick-off in Battle Creek, Mi. KathyK
In your recent speaking engagement at Norfolk Scope you really caught my attention. You have a way to speack to people and inspire them that transcends race, culture and political views. Thank you
In 2007, you came to Norfolk and talked to all the new teachers (I was one of them) and taught us lessons that were poignant and amazing. I used a lot of your stories and quotes to energize students and as a first year teacher, I felt like I was making a difference, thanks to you, of course. Two years later, you came back and I still am very thankful for your message and I have renewed faith that I can reach those students labeled "at risk" and change the world one child at a time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! God Bless! Samantha Brasdis -- Northside MS
Until I learned from you, I cringed at the term "Motivational Speaker." Your message and delivery were profound and I thank you. I am certain that our children will be the ultimate beneficiaries of your gift. One love! -- Brett
You are the first presenter in 34 years that was good for the brain...and the soul. -Erin

Thank you for your wonderful presentation at Woodberry Hill Elementary in Danville. You provided motivation for us to start our year off right. I am glad I was able to help you out even in your "interesting" outfit. I wish you and your family nothing but the best. Lisa LeViere
Thank you for making Differentiated Instruction work for us! You changed the belief systems of many teachers today!
You spoke today at Norfolk Public Schools. I really appreciate all that you said and I am grateful that you were able to overcome your "at-risk" factors to become the inspirational person you are today. I spoke with you after the session today. I had also seen you speak for Caroline Schools a few years ago. I am working on a PhD through Walden University in K-12 Educational Leadership. When I finish my degree, I want to teach at a University level to train teachers. Like you, my life was changed by a special teacher. I was fortunate enough to have the same teacher for 4th and 6th grade. She changed my life. I didn't have a hard life as most define it, but I had very low self-esteem. I was extremely talkative and I was an attention seeking child. My 1st grade teacher became fed up with me and I spent more time sitting in the hall by the classroom door than in the classroom learning anything. (That was 1980). My 2nd grade teacher had a 1st/2nd grade split class and that is how I learned both grades worth of material. By the time I was in 3rd grade, I was throwing tantrums and screaming at the teacher. I felt that I hated school and never wanted anything to do with learning. I was barely a C student. Then in 4th grade, my wonderful, inspirational teacher showed up at my house mid-year with her grade book and had a deep discussion with my parents. She told them that I had so much potential and that I could be great someday. After that visit, I did everything I could to please her. Even to this day, I keep in contact with her and every time I earn a new degree, I celebrate by visiting with her. I can't wait to tell her when I finish my PhD. So I deeply know what you went through, maybe not in the same way, but I do see how a teacher can completely turn around a child. I would not be who I am today without the great ones. I just wanted to share my story with you. Sincerely, Cherrie Russo 3rd grade Teacher Richard Bowling Elementary Norfolk Public Schools
Powerful! Awesome, awesome, awesome speaker and trainer!
THANK YOU, for making our convocation- a memorable one!! You are just what Amelia County needed :) Your daughter, and family remain in my prayers and thoughts, wishing her a speedy recovery!!! -Mary MacCabe- 2nd Grade Teacher Amelia County Elementary
I just wanted you to know that your inspirational talk yesterday afternoon in Spartanburg was the best I have ever encounted--including the last thirteen years in the school system. You definitely tell it like it is and I could have listened another two hours! Thank you so much. I know my students will benefit when I place each of them in my wheelbarrow this school year. Thank you and God bless you and your family. Suzanne
Thank you for being such an inspiration to us! I was in the afternoon presentation in Spartanburg today!! Your words, but mostly the emotion and energy you gave meant the world!!! I heard you speak in VA a few years ago and you spoke of the child who went to the rodeo and fell off his horse then and I have trained a few to have their CS Degree using that image--Thank you:) My heart aches and craves to be an inspiration to children of our difficult world. My husband and I have 3 children of our own each a different one in the wheel barrow. I hope to be the positive in not only my own, but the many I come in contact with on a daily basis. Don't ever stop loving what you do! God has a purpose for you and I Thank you for sharing it w/ us. Prayers for you and your family.
What an inspiration today in Spartanburg, and how abundantly the Lord is using you in so many areas of life...keep that voice strong for your Father!!! Blessings and peace!
I am a teacher at Arcadia Elementary in District 6 Spartanburg South Carolina and I was fortunate enough to be in your presentation on today August 14, 2009. I would like to tell you this is the first year in the 4 years I have been teaching that I am going to school with a new motivation. Often times because of the diffent types of students we teach we get beat dowm and have a tendency to lose focus and hope. I pray every day the God renews my strength so that I may be able to give my students what they need. He sent you. Your message was "the truth". I know you stepped on many toes today and they -we- all needed it. My school is "the mission field". I go there everyday expecting to teach not only the standards but life lessons such as values and morals that will last a life time. Thank you for blessing us with your graceful and uplifting speech. May God bless you, your wife and children. If you are everyin this area again please come by our special school and see all of the teachers that live for the children and our awesome principal that loves and appreciates his staff and lives for the children as well. As my grandfather would say "keep on keeping on!'
What an enlightening experience that you have given me here in Spartanburg this morning! What a motivational speaker that you are! My love for children is huge and I will never meet one that cannot be part of my wheelbarrow! See you on the balcony!!! Thank you for coming to Spartanburg!
In my 42 years of teaching, this was THE BEST motivational speaker I have ever heard... He kept my attention for about 2 hours and I could have stayed for more!!!!!! Lynda
Yes you were absolutely dynamic today in Spartanburg!! You gave me my passion for teaching back that I had lost year due to those basement people. I am even more excited about beginning this year!! Thank you!!! Michelle~
Interaction was the BEST in Spartanburg today!!!!!! You especially struck a chord when you told about your special needs child. These children are my heart, and, I believe, as you do, that they are capable of anything if they have the time, caring, and love!! Thank you! Linda Pierce, School District 2
Doc, I saw you in Spartanburg today and word can't explain how you blessed me. I have been working with at-risk youth for over 20 years and I know I toke 5 pages of notes today. I pray God continues to bless you and your family. You are truly walking in your calling and thank God you show the enemy that he could not win. God Bless, Evangelist Sonya Gray, School District 7
Your presentation was the most exciting, inspirational start to school in which I've had the privilege of participating in 15 years. Thank you for sharing your passion with us through "Real Talk." What an incredible year our students will have if only EVERYONE will heed your words by putting all our students in our wheelbarrows and pulling our basement colleagues up to the balcony. Please tell Bob (Tony) that we enjoyed One Love and watching him dance, too. :o) What a gift and blessing your presentation was!! May you continue to reach teachers (and students) and impact them in the same way you did us today in Spartanburg.
Doc it was a pleasure driving you and Tony the past two days in Fort Worth. It was FUN! You are what you seem. Real Talk! Jimmy Gresham

Dr. Brown is a most encouraging, affirming, and accepting presenter--without compromising his prodigious critical faculties. He is a superb example of how a teacher should teach, and he clearly loves his profession. Hampton--especially the Liberal & Arts Education School--was lucky to have him on the faculty. -Cassie Hardy
WOW! We left the retreat in High Gear! You communicate cold hard facts in a good and fun way. -Beatrice
Real Talk! Thanks for a wonderful first day back. Were looking forward to a great school year! Thomasville Middle School!
I've seen you speak four times, now, and it is NEVER boring!! Each and every time I see you speak I am energized to begin a new school year!
Your candid discussion today reminded me of the balcony seat I’ve sat in since I can remember. I cheered for those who didn’t have cheerleaders; applauded for those who didn’t have a captive audience; and I stood next to those who didn’t have anyone by their side. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for real talk! Hazelwood School DIstrict
Your God-led presentation yesterday in OKC has inspired me to be more diligent in meeting students' needs. Your opening reminded me of "What if Jesus came to your town today" situations. I had seen you earlier that morning, and I thought you were Tony's son traveling with him! Your engagement of your audience was beyond compare, and one of my favorite parts of it was watching you truly communicate with the teens of Seeworth Academy on the front two rows. I saw their tears and viewed your respectful regard and concern for them. Thank you for coming to OKC.
Hi Doc, What a memorable presentation and awesome experience today.....I had a chair on the balcony.......Now I own a couch on the balcony. Ava
I connected to your message in a profound and unshakable way. At your conclusion I was bathed in true joy. - Kristi Toney
It was so rewarding and refreshing to finally see one of your presentations yesterday at Eastern Kentucky University. Dr. Brown, I was privileged to witness your presentation at the Education and Business Summit last Thursday in Greenville, South Carolina. All I can say is WOW and that you are truly anointed from the Lord. Keep doing what you are doing! I am trying to figure out a way for us (the rural school districts in the Lower Savannah region) to afford your services as a speaker for our young people. THEY TRULY NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU. I am praying that God will open up a window for us to secure your services. Anyway, I just had to let you know how much I enjoyed you last week. May God continually bless you and your family. I was at the Graduation for the ETS/TRIO today and i would like to say.....WOW i have never been so moved ans inspired by a guest speaker in all my 44 years, when you asked the young lady to come on the stage and was telling her about the men that would come her way, and said never to lower yourself to any mans standards, always make them reach for yours, it brought tears to my eyes. i did not get a chance to achieve the dream that i wanted but i thank God for my life and my two wonderful children. and i have made a vow to myself never to lower my standards again, i had just got a phone call two days from someone that i gave my heart to and they said that they have found someone else. it hurt but i will not waddle in self pitty, i am a APPLE and i will stay on the top of the tree!!! i was the young lady that had the t-shirt mailed to her.....thanks again DOC for your comfrimation of LIFE
When are you coming back to Kansas? -Kerri
Your intense and fun-loving personality was evident during your address. Your humble upbringing has shaped you to be — vibrant and colorful. I was gald to hear you are a reading enthusiast. I too like the smell of old books.:-) You are by far the warmest and most competent speaker to ever be invited to our corporation.
Just finally read a lil bit about you after attending two conferences; And I wanted to say,"I thought I detected some J-E-S-U-S in your messages!!!!!" Keep it up, I know it gets rough some days but you and your lovely wife are doing kingdom work. Keep your heads held high and stay hand-n-hand. Many Blessings!!!! Proverbs 10:22- The Blessings of the Lord, maketh rich, and addeth no sorrow to it. Walk in your wealthy place!!!
We love your spirit!
I was at the Family Support Center in Pittsburgh to hear you speak. This is my second time hearing you and again I laughed and cried. I work in Headstart and I'm also a single parent. I approached you after the session. I bought a book and told you a little about my son, you gave me a poster for him and sign it. You had me crying. I wish there were more men in this world like you and by reading your book I'm hoping to become a better person. Thanks so much. Jean from Pgh
I was at the family center training in Pittsburgh, May 19, 2009. I cried and laughed, but most of all I was put to thinking more about my "wheelbarrow." I am an elementary teacher but only substitute and I remember being teased in school and made to sit at my own table for lunch. When I teach, I always look for unhappy faces and try to brighten their day, even with just a smile. I do believe the students from grades K-12 are all happy to see my face. I make baby blanket for the Guardian Angel Center in Kersey, PA. They give them to under privilaged families in need. I am up to 28 for this year, so far. Anywhy, I want you to know how you have made me even better and more aware of my job and my heart. Thank you. P.S. I am working on reading "Real Talk"
We loved having you today. Instead of a boring day at training, but you made it a perfect one. I hope you there next years too. Your an amazing speaker and modivation for us family sapport staff to keep doing are best and even making a better effort to doing better than we thought we could do. I am so glad i was at the trainging today because you helped me understand alot more on how to deal with the younger crowd today. i'm only twenty with one kid a little boy and i'm with the AIU Family Sapport staff and am a parent at the Family Center and I'm greatful for your sapport and modivation THANK YOU!
Doctor Brown, I am so thankful I was at the Family Support Conference today in Pittsburgh to hear you speak. Your speech was amazing and you are very good at what you do. It is nice to see a man praise his wife and speak so highly of his children! You are a great role model!!
Your talk in Hillsborough County, Tampa was very well presented and extremely motivational. It was quite rewarding and refreshing. You were amazingly informative and significantly increased my confidence in working with children and families in Florida. -Christina Albronda
Doc Brown, thanks for being a foot soldier for the downtrodden. You certainly appear to be interested in being a prophet, and not too interested in a profit.:-) -Darren Leman
Doc – you are alright!
Your message is simply beyond words!!! Frederick
I was indeed humbled by the opportunity finally meet you. The profoundness of our conversation has left a remarkable imprint. My students were enamored by just the time shared with them. It has been the talk of the day. -Sharon
absolutely loved your presentation yesterday! It truly touched my heart because I am the single mother who struggled to keep the electric on ( and it went out a couple of times). Also, my son has juvenile diabetes and my son did not have a real male role model growing up. Rossalyn
I met you and heard you at the state FCCLA meeting in Kansas in April, 2009. You totally made a difference and as I am finishing up my ed specialist degree from KSU, I plan to contact you and hopefully there is something in what you do that you may need some of the information that I am collecting. You totally rocked the youth we were with in Wichita, KS. Keep up the great work and I will see if we can get you to Dodge City, KS.
I saw your presentation at the beginning of school year for Elkhart Community Schools. Our school, Hawthorne Elementary, just rewatched parts of it on video last week. Your enthusiasm is incredible. I teach 5th grade in an inner city school. One of the biggest challenges is to get kids motivated to learn. As you know they come to school with so many things on their plate every day and school seems more of place of rest then to learn. So this morning I wrote on the board "It's going to be a GREAT day". Then when they came in I said it to them with a lot of energy and animation in my movements. I said it individual kids and had them say it to me back. They were so pumped up and attentive after that. What an awesome idea. They can't wait for tomorrow for me to do it again and see you I say it individually so they can say it back. Thanks for the inspiration. Jan
You are truly one of the best Doctors that i have ever met. I learned a lot at the NC FCCLA meeting and i had a lot of fun. You inspired me to accomplish my goal of being a psychologist and being one of the best. I appreciate your hard work and the accomplishments that you have made. Hopefully one day i'll be as great a doctor as you are. Thank you for taking the time out to come speak and inspire our foundation to keep leading our peers and most of all, not only receiving good things but giving even bigger things back. :) Dominique Jackson
You are exceptionally good at what you do. We were blessed by your presentation. I have also included a request on the Prayer Wall of your website. Thank you for pushing us to greatness. (No one fell asleep at this year's business meeting):-) Cheryl Campbell
Dr. Brown- I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed listening to you at the Kansas FCCLA State Leadership Showcase Event. I was there as a sponsor for my old high school, and as a room consultant for the compitetion side of it on Monday. My major is Family and Consumer Sciences Education and I graduate Pittsburg State University in May 2010 and will hopefully find a teaching job and become an FCCLA Advisor straight out of college. But, while I was sitting and listening to your presentation I started to re-evaluate myself and my life and have decided to better my leadership abilities. Also, as I was thinking about your speech on my way back to Pittsburg from Wichita I started to wonder if I would have caught on to little messages that you gave in your ultimate message when I was younger, but they are things that we unconsiously will realize as we age. My two favorite aspects of your message were the sex symbol and the story about putting a shoe under your bed. I believe that everyone should do that. Getting on our knees every morning and praising god that we have one more day to try and make a difference. Thank you for inspiring me to be an even better leader Dr. Brown. Sincerely- Sheila Foster
He's that GOOD! I read the others and I concur. -Jessica (The blonde Human Resources Manager who talked your ears off):-)
Hey this is Sarah from the Lock-In at Twin Valley and I'm an apple in a tree. :) I really enjoyed hearing you and thanks for allowing me to be part of your presentation. You did a great job!
Hey I saw you at the 2009 Youth Lock-In @ Twin Valley High School on April 3rd 2009! You are a great speaker. -John Ward
You are a great speaker. I listened to you at the Youth Lock-In on 4-3-09. "Its gonna be a great day" TOP FAN, Clay
Words can't begin to express how moving your presentation was. Every family and school should have to hear you in Kansas. Michelle Elliott
You are the most relevant presenter for today's times. You connected with us in a sincere and genuine manner. Your message was insightful & entertaining. Your energy, enthusiasm, passion, and fun personality are certainly infectiuous. You were a breath of fresh air. To add balance to my evaluation, you did not speak long enough. Best regards to you and your beautiful bride. Dario & Lina Bertolucci

Thank you for helping our event be a great success. your message has lasted much longer after the laughter of the day. Requests for repeat visits are already coming in. Thanks again for chosing to visit our racially-isolated area in Iowa. We needed the fresh perspective you gave us. We were thoroughly entertained and challenged. We look forward to seeing you again come next January 2010. Lester Lynn
HUGE personality, warm, witty, and well-read - all the characteristics I admire in a trainer! Kudos! Angela Austin
I saw you in Orlando at the NEA ESP conference and want to learn more. I love your viewpoint (from the balcony)
i think he is truly amazing
Hello Dr. Brown, I just wanted to stop by and say hello to my new friend, brother, mentor, and most of all, my inspirational teacher and motivator. I must say that you are truly a blessing to our world for the great message that you carry and share. Hello to Mrs. Brown too, you are so wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed you all on Friday night. I can say that I've learned so much Friday night than I've learned in a semester in class, that's how powerful your message came across to me at the conference. I thank you for the advice and guidance that you gave to me. I look forward to crossing you paths again in the far but near future. Be blessed and I'll talk to you all again.. Thank you sharing. Ms. Debbie Hilliard 757 a/c..Norfolk, Virginia
Dr. Brown, You are truly AMAZING! Thank you so much for speaking at our stat leadership conference. We received so much great feedback from your presentations! You helped to make our conference one of the BEST Louisiana FCCLA has ever had! You motivated so many members and advisers in our state. Your words will help us all as we set out to conquer our futures. Again thank you so much!!!! --- Jessica Cooper - Former LA FCCLA State President
Dr. Brown, I am writing to commend you on a job well done in Lafayette, LA. My daughter, Destiny attended the FCCLA Convention there this week. She was very impressed with your message. She could not stop talking about all the things that you shared with them. We felt as if we were there. She shared your message with her younger sister and reiterated to her the importance of perceptions and how a young lady should carry herself and always strive to do her best. As she was sitting in the audience listening to you, you were resonating many of the things that I often tell her and she was really fired up about it. Can you imagine how I felt. You were really an inspiration. Your website has already been visited and the site forwarded to others. Destiny was really moved. She treasures the torn heart that you gave her. She says she is going to keep that as a reminder to protect her heart and to make thought out decisions. Before seeing you, she had big dreams, but now they are even greater. She was blown away when she heard on one of your website presentations that when you were 4 you were At Risk at age 13 a Juvenile Delinquent and at age 25 you were called Doctor Brown. Destiny does well in school, but she is now more committed to staying focused and doing even better in school, making her best even better. If you could have your doctorate by age 25, her wheels were turning, she could accomplish her dreams as well. My mother always tells her it is not what people call you, it's what you answer to. When she heard you say that, she just smiled. Truly she got the picture. She is not taking anything for granted. Each day, is a GREAT DAY!!! and she is planning on captializing on each and every one of them. That is now her motto. Thanks again for the work that you are doing and the inspiration that you gave my daughter. Your message will definitely be shared in this area by Destiny Dumas. She touches the lives of young children already, she is an inspiration to them. Her new gained fire and spirit will prove beneficial to our community. I can just see it. You would not believe that she is reserved and quiet in nature. Only when something speaks to her heart, will she open up and sound loud and clear. At that momemt she is a powerful force. Sincerely, Monica J. Dumas
Bravo!! The presentation last night was fabulous. Thanks for sharing God's love in a very unique way. Displaying your wife, marriage and your family are things that need to be seen as the world has distorted them so much. -Delanisha Gray
Hi Dr Brown, I heard you speak to our FCCLA class in Lafayette Louisiana, it was wonderful! I was once married to that apple on the ground, it was a rotten apple! He kept me down for ten years! Ten hard unhealthy years, you see, I didn't know I was still hanging on by a thread. I had a baby with this bad man, and when I saw him turn his anger to our child, I left and never returned! I am now remarried to a wonderful man and have another child, my husband and I help each other run a business together. I teach my oldest to be respectful everyday! I remind her to stay away from drugs and to not fall into a bad mans trap, I even tell her friends! They all respect me and I love that. Hearing what you had to say made me look back at my own life to see my own mistakes I made and fighting back to get on top of my own accomplishments. I am proud to say I am back in the tee! My daughter heard your speech and she loved it! Thank You!
You are amazing!
Adolph is a funny rascal that can go from having you stitches to a very serious subject and never lose credibility. Brilliantly delivered! George in Lafayette, Louisiana
Dear Adolph, Thank you for your enlightening, entertaining, and moving presentation in Minneapolis yesterday. I attended as a parent of a child with epilepsy and ADHD, but I also had my hat on from work--State of MN Child Support Office--and my board--The Minnesota Fathers and Families Network (MFFN) (www.mnfathers.org). You were a wonderful speaker! I think you did an outstanding job at weaving the importance of fathers, families, and relationships with the outcomes and successes of children and citizens. You held the mirror up to the audience when you opened the session and you shared with us many important stories and points to ponder. I checked out your web site as well--it's great. I especially liked the photos of your family and how you list being a "Father" on your business card--above all else--WOW! I also loved your T-shirt "Sex Symbol". As the coordinator of paternity establishment for Minnesota--that T-shirt really made me chuckle and consider the simple, but strong message. As a board member for MFFN and a member of our annual conference committee, I am going to put your name forward as someone we may want to consider for our future events. Thank you again for the energy you put into yesterday's session. Molly Mulcahy Crawford Paternity Program Administrator Minnesota Department of Human Services Child Support Enforcement Division

It was very refreshing and yet challenging to hear your presentation. I do have some of the children you described in my class this year. Hopefully, and with God's help I can make a difference. Your presentation was the first that I have heard since starting at Ft Worth several years ago in which I can say that I was motivated and challenged in a manner that I can implement back in the classroom. Keep sharing your message. Thank you, Quita Farley
hope this message finds you well. I would like to state how much your presentation had an impact on me. As a reminder, you were the keynote speaker for the our District in California. If you recall, I spoke to you briefly before the event and you were kind enough to give me your business card. I am the Principal of Valle Del Sol Elementary School in Coachella. I was in the crowd, in the yellow shirt, sitting in a cart on the floor of the gym. I have been the leader of this establishment for four years. Childern are what define me. On a personel note, like your daughter, I also have CP. I have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband. In closing, please keep in touch and I hope you come our way again. Catherine Loy

You acually interacted with us and was really fun. You understood us in a lot of different ways. You had a lot of energy and was really funny. I also liked th way you used music to actually let us understand more of your presentation. You are now one of my personal heroes. My school, Brandon Middle School, is very proud of you, especially Dr. Rogers.
You were different from any other speaker we have ever had. You made a positive difference in my life and the lives of my colleagues. Thank you for taking the time to talk with me after your seminar. I have never met anyone who has gone through so much. I think your message hit home with everyone. You are indeed a hero. -Kat
We loved your openness, energy, and optimism. The way you provided us strategies for sustaining our success was brilliant. Our supervisor described you as an "observational genuis." She said you were akin to an inspirational "Dr. House" played by Hugh Laurie. She spoke about 20 minutes in our staffing the following week about your bluntness and daring, yet effective persona. -Carey Lindsay, Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical

A serious force in American education. The lecture significantly exceeded my expectations. A marvelous speaker. Adolph Brown is an excellent scholar -- ethusiastic, fair in judgment, and he always provides the right anecdote. He is inspiring! -- Bryan Kruschwitz, Beaverton, OR

You were so easy to listen to, so informative, and gave numerous strategies to alleviate stress and resolve conflicts. I loved your use of experiences and wonderful sense of humor. You are the best presenter most of us have ever seen during our training seminars. Thanks for the indispensable tools to succeed. Just an outstanding seminar! - Suzanne, Lawson Realty Corporation

I'm not eating any more apples because the saying is 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away'. Doc Brown you cannot be kept away. Thanks for your presentation at the 49th National Convention of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority held in Orlando in July. I'm an avid Doc Fan!
It was a great pleasure meeting you at the Ted and Roberta Mann Conference. Tell your son I tried "hard" to get his yellow hoodie, it really did look nice! Here is the name of my book that is being used in new educator and new social workers classes at Augsburg University and Metropolitan State University. If and when you read it ....could you put in a good work to Oprah's show? If you have not had the time to get and read my book here is an internet site which will allow you to see into what we have had to endure for public education....just our experience.. Again thank you and your assistant for opening the eyes of the people at our conference. I have sent your contact information along to many many people and on all of the list serves I am currently on. And I would love to put your posters on tee shirts soon with your permission and paying you for each one. -Bonnie Jean Smith :-) Author
Wow! Doc Brown! You are truly amazing! I was in the crowd a few mins ago at your presentation at USC Upstate, and I must say that you are one of a kind! I've never seen anyone like you! You are an excellent speaker! I told my friends that if I had a professor like you ever morning I woke up I wouldnt have a single problem waking up to go to class! You truly changed my life and my outlook on higher education! May God bless you, and make he keep you! -Brandon Watkins, USC Upstate
hope this message finds you well. I would like to state how much your presentation had an impact on me. As a reminder, you were the keynote speaker for the Coachella Valley Unified School District on August 28, 2008. Thank you Thank you for those wonderful inspiring words. We are the only school in our district who didn't achieve our goal and you truly inspired us to not give up and continue. We will always remember that a step down is a means for a comeback. Again thanks for coming out to the wonderful heat in Coachella.
Hey Adolph, if a picture is worth a thousand words, you are high-definition!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been to lots of speaking and presentation seminars and you are by far the best. Thanks for the encouragement. Aiming HIGHER! Joseph Raimes, NAPA
I had heard so much brouhaha about you and you did not disappoint! You were the anwer! It must be nice to make a living doing what you live for. -Shana, Palm Springs, California
You were awesome! I was the teacher dancing in yellow near the top of the bleachers!! You rock!! I will always be a looking for students and using my wheel barrow. I am glad my principal spoke to you. Thanks for all your positive work with humankind.
I really enjoyed your message at the Fort Worth ISD Convocation. I'm going into my second year of teaching, and your message encouraged me to continue to teach EVERY student not pick and choose as I have observed in my first year.
You inspired me to be a better person today than I was yesterday. And to keep doing that every day. I haven't smiled and laughed genuinely for a really long time. Thank you for that. Lori S.
i was SOOOOO impressed with you ... you dont know how much i enjoyed listening to you yesterday, im teacher with FWISD who teaches special ed... you know what??? you hit it!!!... i wrote myself a letter to 'remind' me of what im going to do .. and in a few months i will open it up and see if i've actually done something about it ... and when i'm down ... i plan to read that letter i wrote myself, that YOU inspired me to write ... thank you so much ... take care and God speed!
Hey Doc, I'm a Physical Education teacher in the Fort Worth ISD (Texas) and I just heard you speak today. You were amazing. We all went back to the school and we were on fire. All the teachers were ready to rock-n-roll and our principal was pumped up and headed out to tackle the world. I loved it when you said "real talk". We are teaching kids and we need to get to their level. I hated school when I was a kid and was told that I wasn't college material and wouldn't amount to anything. Well,I made and now who's laughing??? One last thing and then I shut up.I want to thank you for mentioning children with special needs. My four year old son, Avery was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism and it broke my heart when I was told. Listening to you talk about your daughter, hit me right between the eyes. I have spent so much time making sure no one messes with him or gives him any lip, that I'm not giving him the attention he needs. Thanks for opening my eyes. Gotta go, Avery is being Avery. Doc, you rock! Penny
WOW! That's all that I could say about you, I am also an employee with FWISD too. I was so impressed with the things that you've said today about educating our students, parenting and accountability. Thank you for sharing your knowlegde and your humor. Now I am ready for my students!
Thank you for visiting us in the FWISD and thank you five times over for sending the message that we are all responsible for what happens to our students. Too often we shy away from what we fear, when in reality we have nothing to fear but our own failures and shortcomings as human beings, not just as teachers. I, too, had a bus driver who took the scenic route. Your words were true and you raised the bar on accountability. Thanks, Doc!!! May you continue your work with the same zeal and fervor you shared with us; we will be a better people for it.
WOW! Until you walked on the stage..I had just nudged the person next to me to wake me if I start snoring! That was impossible! You were so engaging and whether you know it or not I was having a really bad day and as soon as I walked out of the auditorium I felt lile I was closer to God than ever. The way you read me...was amazing! I needed that hug. It totally changed my day and perspective on life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I love being inspired to be a better person. I've been a teacher for 5 years and I've been to many seminars and workshops. Your seminar today in Duncanville ISD was THE BEST I've ever heard! It inspired me to be a better teacher as well as a better person. You really don't know how "on time" our message was because God has been doing a new thing in my for the last few months and your message served as added inspiration and encouragement. Thank you!!
For the first time in 12 years in Duncanville I ENJOYED the convocation speaker! And you are spot-on: relationships are the key! I have the unfortunate position of having a son who suffered through his third grade year with a "basement" teacher and now that he's a Senior in high school I am still working to 'recover' him. I guess I've always enjoyed the challenge of trying to reach the "unwanted" and the results are great when it works. I have only one request: teach the parents to not get so angry when we as educators take it upon ourselves to teach etiquette, grammar, and general social skills. That's a tough one. We are perceived as stepping over the line by some. I just want to see them all "get it" and succeed. Thanks for being so fabulous today. Kathie Garrett
You were so fantastic today in Duncanville! I learned so much from you and I can not tell you how grateful I am to have gotten to listen to you today. I feel so energized about this year of teaching not only my students, but my children as well. My son and I came up with a "Turning My Boy Into a Man Plan". I know nothing is accomplished overnight, but were going to work on his future success together and I want to thank you for motivating me. He's throwing his shoe under his bed as we speak. I can't wait to join your fan club. I'm hooked! Latoya Wimbley-Dunbar, kindergarten teacher & mom of two, Duncanville, TX
You brought exactly what Vaniece said you would bring, "The Wow!" The day you spoke we had our highest attendance to date. Thank you for your thoughts and servant-honoring comedy that every audience can believe in. -Gina & Corey Hines
Thanks for teaching an old dog new tricks. After only 5 minutes of hearing you, I knew I struck gold. Most fun and information i have ever received from one person. -Andrew Manning
I was one of Dr. Adolph Brown's former university students. As an unproven student I learned the most from this professor who wasn't afraid to tell the truth. Now, as an integral member of the corporate world, I have grown to respect even more the tough-minded, unsparing, yet ultimately inspirational instruction I received from Dr. Adolph Brown. I will also follow-up with a letter to your office. I would love for our families to meet. -Mimi Olson, Class of 1996
Doc says the tough things that most only think about or are not courageous enough to say. I appreciate both your knowledge and candor. REAL TALK! :-)
Sweet! Whoa..I got jetlag watching you.... and I never left the ground! I emailed the photos of the group piks taken at the Golden Dome. -Stephen, Sophomore, University of Notre Dame.
Good Stuff! Good is actually an understatement. I literally LMAO! Ted & Roberta Mann Foundation Symposium
Dr. Brown, I attended your speech this morning for Hampton School District One and very moved by you. I started out in the school system as a Paraprofessional with Pre-K. Young children have been my passion for a very long time. Inour district, paraprofessionals are required to obtain a CDL to be substitute bus drivers. I was unable to obtain mine due to poor eye-sight. I was transfered to the cafeteria at our Middle School. I have not had a very good transition. I miss the children and feel that my work as " a cook " is very unrewarding. Thank you for the motivation to return to work as "a cook" this school term!!!!! Mrs. Ginn
Awesome! More please! NDST Conference
My second time seeing him. Adolph always give so much more! Absolutely spectacular! -Ray Watson
What a dynamic speaker! What a wonderful start to a new school year. Very inspiring and REAL!
Oh MY gosh! You gotta see this guy! We were blown away with his message, energy, and knowledge. Oh my gosh! --Sabrina, Delta Sigma Theta '08
Dr. Brown, You spoke at our New Teacher Orientation in Bartow County, Georgia today. This was my 2nd time hearing you and the message never gets old. Today I knew what was coming when you meandered around during opening remarks. I enjoyed watching others and seeing how they reacted to you. For those of us who are in education for the RIGHT reason, your message sings to us. Others will hopefully learn from you. Some may not even be aware that they don't understand. I wanted to thank you for taking time with our new teachers today. I hope they carry your thoughts, advice and lessons throughout their career. Thank you again for your time with Bartow County. Your presentation will be the talk of the town for awhile :) Sincerely, Melissa Zarefoss Melissa Zarefoss Principal Adairsville Elementary School
Thanks for "making it happen" in Greensboro. It was a magical session with you. -John Strait, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
Dr. Adolph Brownis a smart and funny man! Brown is a forward-thinking, creative, and hands-on presenter. We really look forward to working with him again. -Sam, Jacksonville, N.C.
No matter how long you teach, you'll never see a more exciting speaker! Dr. Brown also thorougly and insightfully answered an onslaught of questions from the audience during our Q&A as he shared brilliant strategies for life success. He is a must see! An educator shouldn't admit to never having heard of Dr. Adolph Brown before. -Cherelle Joseph, Nat'l Assoc. of School Boards
MARVELOUS presentation at 2008 National Leadership Meeting: Excellence Electrified, FCCLA: The Ultimate Leadership Experience. Moreso, meeting Dr. Brown personally was the hi-light for my group. He is a speaker who I've admired from a distance over the years, but have never known much about. After meeting him at the book signing we found him to be as down-to-earth and funny as I had imagined he might be. It's obvious that this scholar has not let all of his many accolades go to his head. One of my colleagues described him as a presenter with "downright likability," and I agree. Thanks much. Brittany, Alaska FCCLA
It was instruction and entertainment at its BEST! Thanks for helping us solve the age old problem of how to get motivated and stay motivated. It was certainly a "Quality Professional Development Program." -Justin, Princeton University
Your life story of your personal transformation left me ready to face my own life's challenges. You are the real thing.-Jameka Rice, JMU
"Dr Adolph Brown III is one of the absolute best speakers, educators, and entertainers on the planet!" -- Patrick Snow, best-selling author of Creating Your Own Destiny
Our first evening certainly ended on a high and led nicely into our second day when most of our presenters even changed their presentations at the last minute (myself included!) to incorporate elements of your speech – you certainly made an lasting impression. Certain speakers can not be followed and you are one of those speakers. – Greg Nichols, Jr., Maryland State Department of Education
You incorporated our Vision and Values extremely well, and linked it perfectly with our future goals. –David Simmons, Monrovia Unified
The expression "It’s Gonna Be A Great Day!” is well established now in our day to day vocabulary. Many thanks for your invigorating and inspirational speech to our Administrative Team of Senior Managers at our Conference. Everyone is still talking about your after dinner speech and “Staying in The Balcony” is quickly becoming one of the most frequently heard sayings within our District. –Robin Schwartz, IKEA
You totally framed our issues in a whole new light. Thanks for waking us up to the power of relationship building. We need to hear more, lest we fall asleep again. The best summer retreat since my hire over 25 years ago. Cheryl, NC Elementary School Teacher
I was in Pittsburgh several weeks ago and heard Dr. Brown speak to 800 people at the 15th Annual Family Support Conference organized by the Office of Child Development, with the University of Pittsburgh. Doris Dick was the organizer. Frankly Ms. Hickman, I have been in the field since 1981 and have attended my share of conferences in that 27 year span. I will unabashedly say that Dr. Brown was absolutely, BY FAR, the best speaker I have seen in my career!! If there would have been nothing else at the conference except our time with Dr. Brown, it was worth my trip to Pittsburgh….. I came back to Tampa and told my boss, Sheila Sorkin, that somehow, some way we MUST get Dr. Brown to Tampa in our next contract year. Specifically we are looking at a date in 2009 sometime between Mother’s and Father’s Day. Further discussion needed! -Mike Cornelius, MS, Tampa, FL
Adolph is as much a performer and entertainer as he is a learned speaker. He hits all the points in one stroke. -Larry
You were the hit of our conference's 11 speakers. You recognize that it is about 'people.' Thank you for helping us achieve our goals while creating a lasting friendship. I will be forever grateful for your statement "Everyone has the potential to find their place of greatest possibility." We welcome you back any time. -Christopher Stalks
Liked the use of humor, but loved your ability to make us think critically about ourselves and our profession. Thanks for helping us to think positively and behave excellently. -Tyndale Kraus
Dr. Adolph Brown was awesome to in Huntsville Alabama. As a speaker he engaged his audience and kept them on the edges of their seats. Even made a few fall out of their seats with laughter. He motivated future teachers and educators of this world to stand up and really learn, love and care for their students. WOW...imagine if every teacher had that lesson...there would be no child, parent, of school system left behind! - Katina L. Walton, Alabama A&M University
Dr. Brown, My name is Alicia Moore and I attended the AIDS awareness program at the Jubilee center in Lynchburg VA. I just wanted to thank you for that motivational speech that you gave, and I especially appreciated when you said that there is nothing wrong with being smart. I have been in the gifted program since elementary school, and now I attend the Central Virginia Governor's school for math and science. Throughout my years of being in the gifted program I have been one of the few African American applying in school. It kind of hurts to see my own people not trying or not even carrying about their education and the amount of power the knowledge holds. I hope that you come and visit Lynchburg from time to time. Thanks for taking the time out to read this e-mail and may God continue to bless you and your family. Chaynel
Just a note to say thank you for your keynote at the KYCSACC Conference on 3/15/08. We talked about you all day long. Would love for you to talk to the kids around here. Keep up the good work and GOD BLESS Tammy L. Johnston YMCA of Greater Louisville Site Director Audubon Traditional Elm School CEP
Your talk in South Carolina was ground-breaking and earth-shattering. The information and research you shared was very focused, relevant, and yet unassuming. Thanks for the laughs and hilarious message. I purchased DVD's for my entire staff. -Claudia Dayla Stolley
I saw you for the first time at the South Carolina Performing Arts Center. You were hysterically funny, quick off the mark and thoroughly entertaining. I thought your show was witty and vibrant. Thank you for the wisdom and poignant observations. I look forward to seeing you again. -Jerome
Dr. Adolph, your on-line video clips are good, but you are simply phenomenal in person! I had no idea that you would be the best speaker I have ever heard in my 53 years - including my pastor. I did not want you to stop talking. Everyone is repeating your 'cat call' "REAL TALK!" Veronica, University of Pittsburgh
Doc, I have met you while you were in Pittsburgh on June 4th at the Westin Hotel. You are AMAZING!!!!! you brought tears to my eyes and laughter in my heart. I laughed so hard my stomach started to cramp. For so long I have been crying because my fourteen year old daughter has become a disrespectful, disobedient and defiant child. She went from being an honor student to failing. I am a Head Start teacher, I LOVE children. I think to myself "How can I be so involved in children's lioves and cannot handle my own? I have two other daughters whom I am raising on my own. When you spoke about your life as a small child and later as a teenager, I was so touched but yet saddened. As I stated earlier, it brought tears to my eyes. I took a picture with you on my cell phone, something that I needed to have. You truly INSPIRED me. I sincerely mean that. You gave me so much HOPE to try harder in building a positive relationship with my eldest daughter. You are GREAT!!!!!!!!
Doctor Brown, I attended the Family Support Conference in Pittsburgh today. I am truly grateful for that experience because of the message you threw out there. Thank you for opening up me eyes to the world around me. Thank you for not letting me merely move on without changing myself. Please come back and speak again soon. Gratefully, Diana(the woman in the audience who secretly wondered if you even had shoes on under those pants)
You are a phenomenal communicator. Thank you for sharing your uplifting message of hope and encouragement to our staff and parents. You certainly have a gift. -Fredericksburg DSS
Absolutely NO FLUFF! You gave us inspirational motivation. The seminar was a resounding success with our staff. I've had numerous comments from our staff about how much they enjoyed the workshop...it was funny, enlightening, thought provoking, entertaining and educational. I can safely state that you have been the best presenter we've had as an organization during my 31 year tenure.-Calvin R., Educational Options
Your talk was an ideal combination of inspiration and humor. Adolph is a fantastic speaker with great twists! Although we loved how he is careful to weave in detailed knowledge on the subject matter - what we like most is the fact that he is sincere, heartwarming, educational, and humorous. Unequivocally the best we have ever had. Amazing!!! - Lynn Shaver, Educational Leaders Retreat
I wanted to Thank You for the wonderful job you did speaking to our students and staff at Manassas City Public Schools here in Manassas Virginia last week. I enjoy hearing you speak and watching the reaction of your audiance, especially the day after you speak. I am the school social worker and work closely with the high school and alternative school. I love the follow up discussions with the kids after hearing you speak and their feedback. Thank you for being so power and consistant. ~Stephanie Streat, Manassas City Public Schools
Thanks for stimulating our brains and avoiding an Alzheimer’s takeover. It was humbling to hear you say that the most exciting part of what you do is “Every day, I get to work with incredibly talented and interesting people.” You resonated with us. Well-worth the investment. Endorsed without exception. K. Roswell, PRIMUS
I recently saw you (Doc) on CBBS Channel 2 in Chicago, Township Meeting on Violence, and I really enjoyed your performance. Yes, I did notice you in the audience looking exactly like a "Thug" and I kept on Saying to myself "Who is that @#$$@# sitting in the audience, surrounded by all those influential people? How did he get in? You really had everyone shocked. I am a Kennedy King student and I was wondering why the students did't get an E-Mail letting us know about the meeting, although it did air after school was out. I did enjoy the program and I put the word out that the media and all the televesions stations should air that program on all stations so that everyone can see exactly what is going on not only in Chicago but in the World. I really put emphasis on your performance. Looking forward to seeing you again and perhaps meeting you some day. Stay strong. A New Fan, Joy Ousley.
Thank you for your message today. It was MUCH needed by our students, faculty, and administrators! I have been preaching about image, grades, and education in my first year here and it was heartwarming to hear it from another African-American male such as myself. I pray that this will be positive in the days to come in our school. This is my first year teaching and I know that I need to work on my content AND classroom management. I appreciate you reinforcing those principles and continue to pray for me as I will for you. This is a quick email as I have to get in the weight room with my guys and I will email you later with a few questions. Thanks again! -Aaron Banknight
Hey Doc this is Foofoo remember me from osbourn high school i really like your speech and i want you to do another speech at osbourn next year that would be cool by the way my real name is Javon Cook to me i think that you are the best motivator ever
For a certifiably committed cynic like me to get letters from my employees about the benefits of your presentation, it blows me away. R. Coppel, GM
I am a principal of a Chicago high school in Little Village. I watched the Town Hall meeting tonight. I am so glad you did what you did. I was so annoyed by you in your yellow jacket, standing up in front of people and being rude, hiding yourself in those clothes...I did not understand why you were not asked to behave appropriately. That is the fear that we have of young Black men. You are right. We must talk to young people. It is not that hard. You were screaming "See me" and you were ignored out of fear because of your aggressive body language. Bravo!!-Alice Phillips
I recently watched the Chicago forum on violence. I must say that two words come to mind - WOW! and Thank you. During the forum, I kept wondering why someone doesn't tell this man to sit down and take off his hat. It was really bothering me and I even made a statement to my husband. But I was so pleased when you started talking and saying what I felt. I have been confused as to why we in Chicago have not taken steps. We have talked A LOT since last year about violence but nothing seems to be done about it. We raise money for the Games to be held here but none for our youth. What are we saying to or children? The kids are finally standing up and forcing adults to listen but alas we still do nothing for them. Thank you for speaking up and telling the real truth which to me is about action. Stop talking and do. Thanks again. - Kamilah J. Mallory
First a compliment: Wonderful job at the CBS/WBBE Speak the Truth Townhall event.-Alphonse Gonzales
Adolph was fantastic! He was so well received. He was also very approachable and attended our welcome reception and awards dinner. I would highly recommend you to other corporations and events that might occur in the future. I feel that your presentation style and personality were fresh and very interesting to me and all attendees. Your provocative presentation along with your remarks, observations, examples and insights clearly motivated and illuminated the day's discussions. Your skillful weaving of societal, business, educational and technology industry trends gave us much to think about. The breakout groups we held following your keynote presentation were highly energized and productive as a result of the material you presented. -Roberta McGehee, MCI Conference Planner
Dr. Brown was an AWESOME ADMINISTRATOR. He had the unique ability to show love to the students, concern to the parents, and respect for employees. One thing he didn't have..fear of anything! He couldn't be threatened or bought. Congratulations on your retirement! Brooke
I am a former student of Dr. Brown. Hampton University Class of 1999. I just want to pass on my well wishes. It is great to see that he is doing so well. He has certainly been an inspiration to me. - Keisha Gatison, Gatison Law Firm
I have been a "fan" for quite some time. I have seen you grow tremendously over the past 15 or so years. After reading your posted comments, I must point out what I believe has been your most significant contribution to date. Your focused and vigorous advocacy for personal excellence is not a nicety as some put it, it is a necessity. Best- Ed Sneider, IV
Dr. Brown has the rare ability to make a strong, nonpartisan, educational excellence case for continuous improvement, fiscal responsibility, and national standard's achievement in a way that doesn't require a Ph.D. in education or economics to understand. Bright guy!
WOW~you started it, finished it and did stuff in the middle. You have definitely mastered your craft. I look forward to seeing you again. -Diana/COABE
As the self-proclaimed world's biggest doubter, I was thoroughly engrossed by your presentation. It is so obvious that you have a big heart for people in general and educators specifically. You had us do things others said were impossible. You are the most unusual speaker I have ever heard. -Mable Ellis, COABE
You are inspiring to me. I also find you spiffy and extremely funny. I hope all is well and I will indeed remember the message.
Thank you for helping us believe good can win. This ws my third time hearing you and I have learned that if your name is attached to a program, it has to be about EXCELLENCE. +Vanessa
You were amazingly entertaining from your self-deprecating humor to your tremendous insight surrounding 'personal change and growth.' You are one of the most impressive presenters I've seen or heard. Best part of the conference. Thanks for the spirit of fun and celebration. -Warren
OUT OF THIS WORLD! You are the first so-called motivational speaker that presented motivation with purpose or the nuts & bolts to back up action. I have been to numerous of these things throughout my life and I must admit that you are quite relevant, funny, and knowledgeable. Thank you for your 'quiet influence' on lives of others. S.B., Paul D. Camp Community College
Adolph, I just wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you speak today in Prince William County. I didn't plan to be there due to the fact that I had report cards to work on but I had to go see what everyone has been talking about. You were very motivational and everything you said made so much sense. Also- I am a fellow graduate of Green Run High School, class of 87 (Go Stallions!). I believe we might have had English together maybe senior year- Mr. Lankford's class. The 20th reunion last summer was a blast and I am anxiously awaiting the 25th. We will certainly and immediately implement the strategies you so passionately shared. WE ARE "READT!" Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools. James City County
Our planning committee was concerned about paying for a speaker when we could have someone internal or referred from another district. Doc was well worth whatever we paid him. In fact, our CEO said (in an open meeting) he has heard speakers twice Doc's fee that do not come close to the information, motivation, or delivery that Doc possesses. Thank you for your participation in our merger and setting a positive tone for change. You were just totally awesome. We hope to use you again, preferably NOT for another merger;-) --Francis, Director of Operations
I applaud your interaction, results-oriented coaching process. I owe muc of my success to him. --Harold Jackson, IQ Communications & Solutions

Doc is A Courageous Leader! College Student Services
Dr. Adolph Brown was my professor and chairperson of the psychology department at my university. His positive attitude and encouragement kept me, as well, as many other students motivated to succeed not only at Hampton University, but in life. He is a dynamic speaker and makes sure every day is a great day! I served as a mentor in his H.U.S.H program which taught me that our children of today are the next generation, and we must serve as mentors to encourage them to look beyond today and their present situations, because the future holds so much more for them. When you meet Dr. Brown, Ms. Marla and the children, you can see a strong foundation and set of values. They are a family that see "can't" as not an option. Partly because of them, I was encouraged to seek my masters in school counseling because of my love for children. Eventually I hope to receive my PHD in School Psychology. I am currently a case manager at the local department of human services and I see the benefits of helping families everyday. So thank you, Dr. Brown, Ms. Marla and family. I hope to see you again when I volunteer at the Child & Family Wellness center again someday. Holly Threatt Holly.Threatt@pipeline.hamptonu.edu
