Dana's Wheels Logo

Dana's Wheels is a Charitable Foundation envisioned by Dana Brown and her siblings. The foundation's trademarked International Symbol represents "Drive & Determination" for all people. Having endured numerous surgeries and countless hours of rehabilitation due to diagnoses of Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus coupled with numerous complications as a direct result of these conditions, Dana never succumbed to a "victim" mentality. Instead, Dana honed her "growth mindset" to get through her current challenges and to amply mentally and spiritually prepare for future challenges. Dana is making the world aware that "Disability IS NOT Inability!"

Dr. & Mrs. Adolph Brown Student Scholarship

The Dr. & Mrs. Adolph Brown Scholarship is in honor of the strides their daughter Dana has made in life, family, and school even with the challenges of her diagnoses of hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy.   This scholarship is awarded to students in grades 4-11 who demonstrate positive attitudes and strong work ethic that may not be reflected in academic achievement.

Dr. & Mrs. Adolph Brown Inspiration Award

The Dr. & Mrs. Adolph Brown Inspiration Award recognizes and honors a Business or Education Professional/Paraprofessional who is inspiring young people through their role-modeling, leadership, and guidance while encouraging and empowering those young people to make connections between the classroom and the world of work.  The award is based on an adult's ability to help students with "soft transferable life skills" to become independent and develop confidence in and outside the workplace and in turn raising aspirations.
